WHAT IS A PERIPHERAL CAR PARK?
It is a car park located in a peripheral or periurban area where you can leave your car and then reach the city centre by alternative means (public transportation, electric vehicle, bicycle, etc.).

These are primarily car parks for users who intend on staying for extended periods of time (commuters for work or study purposes, tourists, etc.).

Encouraging the switch from private to collective transport, this type of car park is designed to reduce traffic in the city centre and thus ease the burden of the central area car parks which are more intended for short term parking (ex. running urgent errands, shopping, bureaucratic paperwork, etc.)
