On the contrary, route 11 connects Lido di Venezia with Pellestrina island.

ACTV FERRYBOAT CONNECTION: BOOKING SERVICE

The Actv Ferryboat booking service charges 2€ and operates every day by calling the DIME call centre (+39) 041.041. Payment of both booking and transfer may be made by credit card only. Booking or changes to the booking schedule can be made between 30 days and 3 hours prior to departure. Booking is only valid if you check in at boarding between 40 and 20 minutes prior to departure.
Return tickets do not entitle you to book a car space.
The booking only entitles you to board the ferryboat service you have booked. You are not entitled to priority boarding on additional or extraordinary rides prior to the booked one.
Any customer who has booked a service and wishes to board an extra ride service prior to the booked one, can access it only after the boarding of all the waiting and un-booked vehicles.
For tourist buses, it is also possible to book the ride on route 17 from Tronchetto to Lido and back.

ACTV FERRYBOAT CONNECTION: TRAVELCARD HOLDER

If your travelcard has no tickets left, at the time of boarding you will have to buy a standard-fare ticket.
You can refill your travelcard at the Tronchetto, Isola Nova del Tronchetto 30-31 Venezia Unica Agency, as well as at the Piazzale Santa Maria Elisabetta Venezia Unica Agency of Lido S.M.E.

IMOB PASS

You can buy ferryboat tickets not only at the boarding ticket points but also from the entire Venezia Unica sales network and at Lido and Pellestrina dealers.
The imob system comes along with the issuance of a free “imob pass” where you can refill your travelcards; travelcards, just like vehicle tickets, can be bought from the entire Venezia Unica sales network, as well as at Lido and Pellestrina dealers.
In order to receive an “imob pass”, new travelcard holders will have to fill in a form available at the Venezia Unica ticket points of Lido S. Maria Elisabetta and Tronchetto and return it to the very same ticket points, whereas those who already have a travelcard can collect their free “imob pass” at the above-mentioned ticket points.
Whoever already has an “imob pass” can recharge tickets on the very same pass.
The holders of a still-valid route 17 travelcard can use the tickets already bought with the old system, until further notice from Actv.
In order to access the boarding area, you will be asked to validate your vehicle ticket, as well as the driver/passenger’s. You can validate your tickets at Tronchetto and Lido S. Nicolò by using two different validating machines marked by two different stickers: Vehicles-only validating machines (including bikes and motorcycles); Drivers/passengers-only validating machines.
At the Punta Sabbioni stop (routes 12, 14, 15) you will find just one validating machine, both for drivers/passengers and vehicles.
Once you have validated your vehicle ticket, before boarding you will have to display one of the following vehicle documents on the dashboard:
1. Imob pass;
2. Payment receipt of vehicle ticket;
3. Travelcard holders (using the old travelcard system, not the imob one) and those who booked the trip via call centre will have to display the receipt the ticket agent gave them;
4. Ticket issued by the Actv Administrative Offices.
Actv has prepared All. 1 - all. 2 notices which, starting from 5 June, will be displayed at route 17 stops, applicable Venezia Unica ticket points and on route 17 ferryboats. Information leaflets will be available at the Tronchetto, Lido S. Maria Elisabetta, Lido S. Nicolò and Punta Sabbioni ticket points.
