Accessible Mobility

AVM has always been very attentive and careful when responding to the needs of citizens. When producing, fulfilling and distributing a service, this can be translated as actions aimed at continually improving such service.
Disabled people can take advantage of AVM services, and this section is thus dedicated.

 

RIALTO STOP: after 8:19p.m. until the end of services passengers with reduced mobility using a wheelchair can: board at waterbus stops A or B, instead of waterbus stops C or D, however, this must be booked at least 20 minutes before the departure time by calling 800845065; get off at waterbus stops A or B, instead of waterbus stops C or D, by asking the crew members to make an additional stop.

BLUE-MARKED PARKING BAYS

The introduction of paid parking has the aim of guaranteeing everyone the possibility of using public parking. Physically-disabled people can park free of charge at any time. Click herefor further information.

 

Local public transport service

Public road transport services for passengers with reduced or impaired mobility in wheelchairs is provided only and exclusively by suitable vehicles. Stops with the "BUS FACILE" sign offer the possibility for passengers with reduced or impaired mobility in wheelchairs to get on the buses in safe conditions.

Trams, as well as the people mover and waterborne craft can be used at all times and provide specially equipped areas for wheelchair users.

In addition, with the new Spring 2019 timetable for the navigation service, AVM / Actv have introduced a new feature on routes 1, 2 and N to and from Rialto. In fact, passengers in wheelchairs travelling on waterbus services arriving at Rialto C/D after 8:30 pm can now ask the crew members to stop at Rialto A/B, however, this service must be booked 20 minutes before boarding by calling the free phone number 800 845065.

 

The use of tramlines, like the people mover and navigation services , are always permitted, and the specially-equipped spaces must be used
